Emily Sixberth Hhayuma received his B.Ed. in Science (Chemistry) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in 2020. From 2020 to 2023, he worked as a high school chemistry teacher at St. Dominic Savio Kigonzile High School, where he taught chemistry and supervised laboratory practicals. He joined the NanoElectroChemistry Laboratory (NECL) at Daegu University in August 2024 and received his M.S. degree in Chemistry from Daegu University on August 20, 2026. Since September 2026, he has been pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Daegu University. His current research focuses on electrochemical energy conversion, particularly the development of electrocatalysts for sustainable reactions such as water splitting and nitrogen reduction.
