BIOGRAPHY
Prof. Jun Ho Shim is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry Education at Daegu University. He previously served in the Department of Chemistry at Daegu University from 2012 to 2023, where he advanced through the ranks to become a full professor. Prior to that, he was a Research Professor at Ewha Womans University (2009–2012), and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Texas–San Antonio (2007–2009) and the University of Tennessee–Knoxville (2006–2007). He also worked as a Senior Researcher at i-sens Inc. (2002–2006) and held research fellow positions at the University of Utah (2004–2005) and the University of Michigan (2002). He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from Kwangwoon University, completing his doctorate in 2006. Professor Shim’s research focuses on nanomaterials and electrochemical systems for energy and environmental applications.
